Hebrews 12:1-29

What are we showing our children day in and day out? I know I am wreck sometimes, I get overwhelmed so easily, and feel like I am not doing enough.

This feeling overcomes us all, and it is something that we have to fight day in and day out. Its a lie from the enemy, trying to destroy and take down the truth about women, their calling, and their lives.

I have been very intentional lately about what I show my children, what I say and do. I want them to see Grace and Love, and a mom who loves Jesus. I am fighting that lie not only for my self, but for my children.

My children are people I witness too every day. -Piercing my heart with this today. Can't get any more real than this.

❤️ Hebrews 12:1-29

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.

In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? “My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him.
