Hand Me Downs-

We have quite a bit of hand me downs, and we love them. We have been blessed by amazing friends and family who have given us so much for our little’s. We have always been humble and open to taking anything that comes our way.

We learned to be thankful, and to see God’s blessings and grace through every little thing that came our way. I was just in the garage getting out some of Leillas "new" winter attire from her cousins most recent hand me down, and was just in awe of God’s love for us. I never get tired of feeling my father’s love all over my life.

Recently, I have been very intentional about what I leave with my children. I want to hand them down a legacy of faith and love.  I am on a mission of breaking generational curses and calling new and beautiful things over my children’s lives. I want to hand down a living experience of God’s love and grace.

Bitterness, anger, hurt, greed, pride, selfishness and any other ugly thing needs to have no place at all right now in us as adults, especially if we are trying to hand down a life of love and a legacy of faith to our next generation. Without having him as our main focus, we lose sight of what God had called us to hand down to others. Love and Grace. It makes me want say yes to God more and no to my flesh.

Romans 3:24, "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:"

Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

Luke 7:47, "Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little."

Galatians 2:20, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." Romans 6:4, "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."

Lets continue Gods legacy and hand down Grace and Love with humble hearts and sound minds.

XOXO,
Alexandra
